Counties!
I’d been thinking of creating maps of counties for some time…maps that encapsulate a large area and convey the unique character of each by picking out some of the best known and loved places, but not forgetting some of the hidden gems too!
So after deciding on Nottinghamshire as my starting point (as it’s where I’m based!) I then took a straw poll from my fabulous followers on Instagram and Facebook and the names that came up again and again were Northumberland and Cornwall, obvious choices as both are beautiful counties in their own right and popular holiday destinations too.
I hope you’ll agree that for anyone with connections to the counties, they’d make a stunning gift, and the best part is that they’re all customisable, meaning that I can add a bespoke icon anywhere on the map ~ which means that a personal place or event can be shown – how about a wedding, or a beloved family home or holiday destination…
